On September 13 (the time in Germany), Weichai Power (DE) Science & Technology Innovation Center held the launch for the first batch of innovation projects, carrying out innovative research on the electronic control systems and materials innovation.

　　On November 19, 2017, Weichai Power (DE) Science & Technology Innovation Center was established. Based on RWTH Aachen University, and incorporating global resources, the Innovation Center focuses on innovative research and development in the fields of intelligent hydraulic system and control technology, intelligent sensing technology, hydraulic key component materials and surface treatment technology, new energy, and so on.

　　At present, Weichai has established technology innovation centers in Aschaffenburg (Germany), Chicago (USA), and Tokyo (Japan). These three centers cooperate and create a vital support platform for Weichai’s technology innovation systems, promoting industrial upgrading and structural adjustment, accelerating the conversion from old to new energies, and achieving transcendence.
